Virtual meeting between the Arab-Uruguayan Chamber of Commerce (CCAU) and Othman Al Tamimi & Co. – Business establishment in Saudi Arabia
On Wednesday, 4 February, a virtual meeting took place between representatives of the Arab-Uruguayan Chamber of Commerce (CCAU) in Uruguay and the Saudi legal consulting firm Othman Al Tamimi, based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The CCAU was represented by Mr. Martín Couñago (Carlos Picos Consultora), Dr. Facundo Dufrechou (Novasenda SA), and Mr. Germán Altesor (Carlos Picos Consultora). Othman Al Tamimi & Co. was represented by advisor Ms. Feda Al Mutlaq. The meeting was facilitated by the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of this Embassy, Minister-Counsellor María Ximena Álvarez.
The purpose of the meeting was to provide Uruguayan business representatives with an overview of the procedures and mechanisms for establishing and operating a business in Saudi Arabia, including general process steps, regulatory considerations, and the usual stages for incorporation and operations. During the session, Ms. Al Mutlaq answered questions raised by the participants on the same subject and provided practical guidance and general recommendations to support progress in establishing business activities in the Kingdom.
