Invited by the authorities of the Government of Saudi Arabia and by the organizers of the event, on November 27/23, the Ambassador of Uruguay in Saudi Arabia received on behalf of the authors from the Executive Director of the Gourmand World Cookbook, Edouard Cointreau, the awards to two food-related works by Uruguayan authors, which, due to their quality and thematic approach, stood out among dozens of other works by researchers and writers from all over the world.
The first prize went to the book:
"LA VIGNA LÁCTEA"-"LA ARQUITECURA DEL QUESO-.
AUTHORS: AGUSTÍN BATTELLINI AND ALEJANDRO SEQUEIRA.
The second prize at world level in the category of "Subjects" and "best free publication for children in the World", went to the work: "Mucho Más que Miel-Abejas del Uruguay".
Authors: Belén Branchiccela, Estela Santos, Sheena Salvarrey, Natalia Arbulo, Karina Antúnez and Elis Montagne.
The work was published by "Biblioteca País del Plan Ceibal".
